As most of you know, the kids were so sick over the holidays so between dolling out the chicken soup, immune boosters and lots of cuddles, I had a few moments to go through our road trip pictures this past fall.⠀
This past October, our family went on an epic road trip from Nova Scotia to Orlando, Florida so our eldest so could train with (hands down), the best youth soccer trainer in the US, Seattle Sounders and USMNT striker, Eddie Johnson. ⚽️ ⠀
So over the last few weeks, I’ve been sifting through our pictures and putting together our videos from the trip. ⠀
It’s funny, as Canadians who are super into food (and health foods in particular) we are always so amazed at the selection the US carries in comparison to Canada ⠀
Subsequently, a lot of our time in the States is spent at grocery stores and we often are in amazement at normal stores, like Walmart, Target and Whole Foods. 😆⠀
All together between countless hotel rooms, soccer in Orlando, a hospital visit, a flat tire on a NY highway, a stomach bug, a whole bunch of sightseeing along the east coast and a packed car, we spent 9 days driving (how many hours is that???) but we had SO MUCH FUN! ⠀
Come check out our adventures starting with the first 6 episodes below! In these first 5 videos we made it all the way to Orlando.
Being with my boys, is the greatest joy of my life.
Even with the many wrenches that get thrown at you in life (and on a road trip) I’m grateful for all of it; all the memories we made and will remember fondly!
