Tailwind Create Is A Gamechanger
First off, I think it's safe to say that people love Tailwind, myself included.
Now as you go through this if you haven't heard of it, Tailwind is an amazing social media scheduler that helps people streamline and automate the pinning process (in the social media search engine – Pinterest)
As you are aware of Pinterest loves it when you publish new content to your boards in the form of new pins. Think of Pinterest as a giant cork board and pins as the things you pin on that board 🙂
Now once you've created your pins that depict your marketing message (check out my pin below) you can pin to your Pinterest boards manually, but the truth of the matter is that it takes time.
Yes, you should also pin manually, but it always helps, especially when growing your reach if you can pin many, many times a day. Right now, ideally pinning at least 25 times to your boards per day is a good number to aim for.
Of course, this takes time – sometimes a lot of time, and life can sometimes get in the way which leads to gaps and inconsistencies in your pinning routine. That said, Pinterest doesn’t like inconsistent pinning behaviour and sadly your metrics and numbers drop. This is where Tailwind comes in.
Tailwind allows you to automate much of this process by scheduling weeks ahead of time, with a very easy and intuitive process that makes pinning efficient, effective, and most importantly FUN!
Now up until recently, if you were a Tailwind user, you could load your own already made pins into Tailwind and publish them into your schedule. You can also schedule other people’s pins that you like and are relevant to your particular Pinterest boards.
This was great because as long as you come in, for example once a week and pin to the timeslots in your schedule, you will also was have a consistent pinning routine which Pinterest loves.
Plus, you can’t forget about the “Communities” in Tailwind – these are groups of people in various niches that are in these communities together all with the one common goal – to share and promote one another’s content. It’s a great place for pinners to support one another, and share each other's content – a win-win for everyone involved.
The thing is you would have to create your pins somewhere else and then upload them, well not anymore…
Introducing Tailwind Create!
Tailwind create in my opinion is a gamechanger! Tailwind Create makes an already highly effective social media marketing tool been better by kicking it up a notch, bringing the usefulness and time-saving aspect of this already must have tool to a whole other level!
So Tailwind Create in a nutshell is a pin creator and why I love this is because now you literally never have to leave the platform to create, schedule and pin. It makes for a seamless process and cuts down on any back and forth, and any jumping around that you need to do from one tool or another.
The other huge benefit is that when you plug your information into a simple form to get the pin creation process started (destination URL, pin title and photos) it will create in a matter of seconds so many pins in different layout, configurations and colours that you could never even think of! Now all you need to do is curate the pins, make a few minor edits and select the pins you like. Within minutes, you have several pins all with a different look, feel, colour and layout. It makes the pin creation process so easy – especially for those of us who don't necessarily know what looks great or don't the best “eye” for design, if you know what I mean 😉
So keep reading for a quick step-by-step visual tutorial on how to use Tailwind Create!
Step-By-Step Tailwind Create “Pin Creation”
So from inside your Tailwind account, you can create many, many pins in a matter of minutes and for people like me, whose graphic design talents don’t come as easily as it does to other people, this is an absolute revelation.
Let’s see how this works ?
First, click on the “New! Design in Tailwind Create” button. In the screenshot below I am in my scheduled drafts.

Once you've done that you will see a page like this ????:

Once the page loads, you will see a page like this that asks you to plug in a few details about the pin you want to create:

As I mentioned above, it's as easy as filling out the information and choosing a few images either from the photos they take from the destination URL and show to you, or you can choose from a number of free stock photos (see below)

Once you've done that, click on the “Create Images” button and see that magic happen!

As you can see, we are still in the design settings but you will have the ability to edit and change layouts, colours and more, just like you would in any program you are currently using to create your pins. You can see the edit tab in the picture below:

But now, here is the beauty of it all…
Just by inputting that initial information into the form, Tailwind Create has come up with over 135 different initial pin creations, it's just now up to you to edit as you wish (text, headline, colors, picture) and then pick a few, let's say 5 to start.
Below for example purposes, after I made a few small edits, I chose 2 pin designs to upload to my scheduler by clicking on + SELECT button underneath each pin and then the “Review Your Selection” button at the bottom of the page.

Once I've done that, it will take you to a page that asks you whether you'd like to download and/or schedule – this is the EXTRA brilliant part of Tailwind Create, you NEVER have to leave the platform which makes this already simple process even easier to go from pin creation to promotion in a just a matter of minutes and a few easy steps!

Once you've clicked on the “Go Schedule” you'll see the pins in your “Drafts” Easy peasy! Now all you need to do is schedule your pins into your schedule and that's it!

In Summary
For me, Tailwind Create and it's ability to go from pin creation to promotion all on one platform, is what sold me on Tailwind Create.
I really like that everything can be done all on one platform as I hate going back and forth between platforms. Also as an official partner of Pinterest, Tailwind continues to uphold Pinterest best practices and prompts it users to go through the creation and scheduling process keeping this in mind.
Overall, I've found using Tailwind in my business has been incredibly beneficial and I highly recommend trying out the free trial of 100 pins. I am also very happily impressed with this new feature of Tailwind Create, I like that it helps people who may not be so design inclined to make pin creation easy and painless but also the ease and functionality of it. I'm excited to keep using it in my business for increased efficiency and results.
